Special purpose funds focusing on philanthropy, green agendas and not-for-profit purposes are on the increase globally with streams of private capital being channelled into these areas. Alongside its expertise in traditional investment fund management and private wealth management, Jersey is also able to offer a range of structures that serve impact investing and philanthropy goals.
How I can help
I have in depth knowledge on the evolution of the charity and philanthropy rules in Jersey – both for publicly funded arrangements under the Charities (Jersey) Law 2014 and privately endowed philanthropy funds. I can assist with the structuring proposals for such entities , the registration and exemption provisions that apply in Jersey to them under the charities legislation, not-for-profit legislation and the interface with the financial crime and anti-money laundering rules in Jersey.
